The Samoan Festival at Peninsula Park was a huge success! We have so much to be thankful for! First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Summer Free for All for being such a fantastic partner. A special thanks also goes out to our generous sponsors: Portland Parks & Recreation, Kaiser Permanente, TriMet, Multnomah County, and Health Share of Oregon.

We’re incredibly grateful to our food vendors who played a crucial role in making the event a success. A big thank you to LB6 Island Barbecue LLC, BigBoyCatering, Taste of Samoa, and Kona Ice (Shaved Ice) for providing such delicious offerings. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to the amazing performers who brought so much energy and joy to the festival, including Teva Oriata, Tausala Manaia, USO Moni, Portland Youth, LB6 Island Boys, PSU PIC Club, Ra Khan, and Eazyboy Olo.

We’d also like to recognize our exceptional emcee team and our special guest, Asiata Pio Vaoliko—for keeping the event lively and engaging. Additionally, we want to thank all our vendors and community members who attended and supported the festival. It was wonderful to connect with both familiar faces and new friends.
