Agnes Laban-Enge

Agnes was born and raised in American Samoa from the village of Fagatogo and then moved to Amaluia. She was raised in the Samoan culture. Her mother‘s family “Mailo” is from Fagatogo where she lived and practiced the Samoan culture everyday. Agnes moved to Portland in 1986 to pursue her career as a registered nurse. She has been a nurse for over 30 years and is very proud due to her mother’s strong influence. She is currently a board member for SPDC and looks forward to working with the youth, leaders and community in sharing and preserving our culture. Agnes has three adult children with two grand fur babies. She loves to read, travel, hike, and kayak.
